FIT Spoon Challenge ~Sugar Free Week

This week's Challenge~ Cutting out sUgAr!

This week we want you to cut out sugar!  If you are like me, sugar is definately something I can't live without.  However, I would reach my goals faster if I could!!! 

Sugar has been coined as the "sweet poisen" by David Gillespie and even the "white devil" by others.  Either way you look at it sugar souldn't be a big part of your daily diet. 

So here you go......reasons to curb your sugar intake! (According to Jackie Warner (2010)
  • It has ZERO nutritional value!
  • It can weaken your immune system.
  • It is HIGHLY addictave!
  • It throws off your metabolic functions.
  • It can age your skin and cause wrinkle

Watch for sugar in sweet things but also in not so sweet items.  It can be found in ketchup, canned products, barbecue sauce and speggettie sauce.  Sugar is everywhere!!!

Here are some easy ways to cut out unnessesary suagars in your diet....

  • Cut out jucies, sodas and other sugar loaded beverages.
  • Stop adding sugar to coffee, water, or tea.
  • Eat more fruit to curb those cravings.
So join us as we reduce our sugar intake!!!!!
