FIT Spoon CHALLENGE ~ Push- Ups

This week's Challenge:  Push-Ups

This week we want you to WORK IT!  

We CHALLENGE you to do 20 push-ups daily! 

You can do them anyway you wish. Spiderman style, headstand push- ups, wall push-ups, on your knees etc.  It doesn't mater the style, as long as you are doing them.


Why do Push-ups?

  • Push-ups are efficient and CHEAP!  There is no need to buy any special equipment and you can do them just about anywhere.
  • The help develop upper body strength.
  • They work MORE than just the arms.  Chest, triceps and deltoids too!
  • They also do wonders for your abs!

Form?

In order to reap the above benefits correct form is key! Make sure that your spine is straight and abs are taut. 
When you go down for your push up, make sure your hips stay aligned with your whole body without sinking them down or lifting the up.
Try to keep your head still facing foward.
